Pre-Paid Funerals
We offer the Foresters Friendly Society Plan. There are three main reasons to pre-pay with Foresters.
- In the written contract it is guaranteed that your express wishes will be carried out. This provides comfort for you and those you leave behind.
- A pre-paid funeral is paid for at today's prices, including GST. You are protected against inflation.
- Pension and pension benefits are safe because the money paid Into the plan is not considered part of your assets, nor does it generate taxable income.
The money paid in Foresters is invested with the Trustee. The Trustee guarantees that your wishes will be carried out, whether the pre-paid funeral takes place in 10 years or in 50 years.
We recommend that you contact your preffered funeral director before taking out any funeral policies, as many have fine print.

Sureplan Family Fund - Funeral Insurance
Another option is Funeral insurance.
Anyone can join - Any
person between 11 and 55 years of age may join this fund, subject to
medical and health conditions. In many cases each member of a family can
obtain cover for a total family cost of a few dollars per week.
Unlike other funeral insurance funds Sureplan guarantees to :
1. Pay the nominated benefit selected at the time of acceptance (even if death occurs the day after acceptance)
2. Never increase the premium payable.
